Synopsis in English
Eleven-year-old Lucía’s family lives a precarious life in Lake Coatepeque in El Salvador. So precarious that her sister was sold to a woman for $80. Lucía has spent most of her young life selling candy, fruit or any other product to help her family make ends meet. Lucía returns home one day to find that her remaining siblings were taken away and that her mother and neighbors are reluctant to talk about it. She begins a journey in search of them in this devastating and beautiful documentary about children’s rights.

La familia de Lucía vive una vida precaria en el lago de Coatepeque en El Salvador. Tan precaria que su hermana fue vendida a una mujer por $80. Lucía ha pasado la mayor parte de su corta vida vendiendo dulces, frutas o cualquier otro producto para ayudar a su familia a llegar a fin de mes. Lucía regresa a casa un día y descubre que se llevaron a sus hermanos que le quedaban y que su madre y los vecinos se muestran reacios a hablar del tema. Así comienza ella su búsqueda en este desolador y hermoso documental sobre los derechos de los niños.
