The town 65-year-old Domingo calls home is being threatened by developers who want to construct a highway that will cross right through it. Most of the residents have left, but Domingo refuses to sell his land. The recent widower believes his wife visits him regularly in the shape of a mist. He will resort to any means necessary to protect his home. Escalante Meza’s third feature film was Costa Rica’s official entry for Best International Feature at the 95th Academy Awards.
