Ana Cristina Barragán’s sensuous and enigmatic follow-up to her critically acclaimed "Alba," focuses on 17-year-old twins Iris and Ariel who live a semi-idyllic life on an island with their older sister and mother. Isolated from the mainland, their mother’s sudden departure creates a rift between the three siblings. Iris leaves for the city in search for the truth behind her mother’s decision to keep them apart from that world.
