Remember VHS tapes? How about Betamax and Chroma Key? Then you and your family will enjoy Pablo Chea’s imaginative and quirky debut about a boy who must rescue his parents from a parallel universe. Thirteen-year-old Emi knows everything there is to know about technology in 1993 but he is a little embarrassed by his weird parents who produce their own variety show titled Croma Kid. But when he replaces the chroma key machine he just broke with a mysterious device, he accidentally sends his parental units to another dimension, Emi gets cracking and puts all his techie knowledge to work.
Director and co-writer Pablo Chea is scheduled to attend both screenings.
