Sisters Marina and Luna travel from Costa Rica to Panama to look for their absent father. With their mother’s blessing, Marina and Luna stay in Panama at their mother’s friend’s house with her daughters, the teen Sol (Gabriela Man) and her little sister. Through them, they make new friends, discover the joys of skateboarding, meet potential boyfriends and discover their own desires. Zúñiga’s coming-of-age tale is an intimate and joyful celebration of sisterhood that captures the ups and downs of teenage life.
