Brazil, 1870. Gita, a transgender Romani woman, confronts tradition’s harsh fate. The half-breed soldier enforces unjust laws. The Woman in Black fights to save her indigenous son from the Brazilian Empire. The child believes love can break the cycle of tragedies.
