Hernán Mendoza (“The Box”, last year’s “Incomplete Lovers”) and Edgar Vivar (“El chavo del ocho,” “Mighty Victoria”) star in this touching movie about a dysfunctional group of addicts in rehab tasked with taking an indigenous girl with terminal cancer back to her hometown in Chiapas. The group includes an alcoholic, a former soldier, a drug addict and a nurse. As they approach their destination, this small group will have to individually come to terms with their own issues.
Director and writer Mario Lucero Beauregard is scheduled to attend both screenings.
