Por Cielo y Tierra • Four women search for the remains of their loved ones in the aftermath of Colombia’s decades-long war: Omaira, an ex-combatant who’s been searching for her father since 2017; Daniela, an indigenous woman who has, for 20 years, also searched for her father; Gladys, a mother whose son was disappeared by the paramilitaries; and Herminia, who after years of waiting finally finds her son’s body and buries him. This is also the story of the Search Unit for Missing Persons, an entity which has helped countless families find closure.

Director Santiago Díaz Vence is scheduled to attend both screenings.
