Opening Night • Dear Gentlemen / Estimados Señores

The 41st CLFF opens with the United States Premiere of Dear Gentlemen (Estimados Señores), actress and novelist Patricia Castañeda’s feature debut about the fight of Colombian women to win the right to vote.
This exclusive event will be held on Thursday, April 3rd. Film Screening will be at the Davis Theatre, 4614 N. Lincoln Ave. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and events will start at 6:00 p.m. The post screening Gala will be held at DANK Haus German American Cultural Center, 4740 N. Western Ave. Tickets for each gala are $75 general / $65 for ILCC members. Limited amount of tickets available.

Special Screening • Black Earth / Terra Negra

The 41st Chicago Latino Film Festival announces its Mid-Festival Event with the North American Premiere of Black Earth / Terra Negra, this is the first time a Valencian film is presented at CLFF and to celebrate we are hosting a reception before the screening with food and drink, included in the ticket price.
This exclusive event will be held on Wednesday April 9th. Film Screening will be at the Instituto Cervantes (31 W. Ohio Street). Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and event will start at 6:00 p.m. Stay afterward for a Q&A with Filmmakers. Tickets for each gala are $30 general / $25 for ILCC members.
Mid Festival Event!
Join us for a Special look at the Festival’s first Valencian Film! Your ticket includes both the exclusive film North American Premiere and our pre-screening food and drink reception (Included in your ticket purchase), you’ll enjoy delicious food, wine, and mingle with the filmmakers behind this Spanish film. Event is co-presented by the Instituto Cervantes through Spain’s Ministry Of Culture – We are sure these tickets won’t last long either!
Closing Night • Queens / Reinas

The 41st Chicago Latino Film Festival announces the Closing Night Gala’s selection of Reinas, Peruvian-Swiss director Klaudia Reynicke’s poignant tale about a father trying to earn his daughters’ love back after being absent from their lives for too long.
This exclusive event will be held on Monday, April 14th. Film Screening will be at the Davis Theatre, 4614 N. Lincoln Ave. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and events will start at 6:00 p.m. The post screening Gala will be held at DANK Haus German American Cultural Center, 4740 N. Western Ave. Tickets for each gala are $75 general / $65 for ILCC members. Limited quantity available.
